MyCard announced October rewards changes, while Bunnings launched PowerPass Pro Rewards. Here is the news from 13–19 July 2026.

MyCard set out its October rewards changes

On 16 July, Point Hacks reported MyCard's planned card and rewards changes. MyCard set 1 October 2026 as the change date. Its card information says MyCard Prestige would become MyCard Premier. For the tracked MyCard Premier Qantas, MyCard's rate table shows the change from 1 Qantas Point per $1 on eligible online and international spend, and 0.5 on other eligible domestic spend, to 0.5 per $1 on eligible spend capped at $7,000 per statement period.

The MyCard Premier rate table shows a different result for MyCard Reward Points: eligible ordinary domestic spend will rise from 1 to 1.5 points per $1, while eligible travel booked directly and international spend will earn 2 points per $1. The separate 2-point rate for domestic online spend will end. The issuer also set higher redemption costs: its example $100 gift card will move from 20,900 to 33,770 MyCard Reward Points. MyCard said it would adjust existing balances once, based on the balance on 1 October. Check your card's current terms before comparing value.

Bunnings launched PowerPass Pro Rewards

Bunnings announced PowerPass Pro Rewards on 13 July. The trade and business program added Pro Rewards Dollars, fuel discounts and Qantas Business Rewards points at higher annual spend tiers. Point Hacks also covered the launch on 14 July.

Under Bunnings' Qantas Business Rewards terms, an eligible business earns 15,000 Qantas Points when it reaches $25,000 of qualifying Bunnings spend in a membership year. It earns a further 25,000 points at $50,000 and a further 85,000 at $100,000. The PowerPass Pro and Qantas Business Rewards accounts must have the same ABN. Owner Builder and Apprentice members and linked cardholders cannot earn these tier points. Bunnings lists excluded spend, including gift cards and Marketplace items.

For a business that already buys enough eligible supplies, the thresholds matter. I would check the excluded purchases and the membership-year dates before counting on the points.
