Shopping Deals by Craig Saves ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use our iOS mobile application, Shopping Trolley website, Chrome extension and connected ShppngTrlly account services (the "Service").
By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
We do not require an account for public catalogue features. If you create an account, we collect your email address and the information that you choose to save. This information can include subscriptions, notifications, size preferences, shopping wants, decisions and purchases. If you contact us, we also receive the information that you provide.
When you use the App, we automatically collect certain information from your device:
We use first-party analytics tools to collect this usage data in an anonymised form. No personally identifiable information ("PII") is stored in analytics events.
The App does not use browser cookies. The connected website uses a secure session cookie to keep you signed in. Device identifiers are used for push delivery and anonymised analytics or crash reporting.
Amazon purchase import is optional. In the extension popup, select Import my Amazon purchase history once to read every supported year and page available to your Amazon AU session. Select Connect account to connect without a history import. Before connection or import, the popup discloses that Amazon Orders syncs automatically. Connection enables sync by default. Sync reads only the current visible supported Orders page, not all history on each visit. The popup shows the connected destination account. Use Amazon Orders sync: On/Off to control automatic sync or Disconnect account to stop collection and upload. Required sign-in continues automatically for the bound account. Account conflicts, CAPTCHA and source gaps need attention.
The extension sends minimal purchase facts and observation metadata directly to https://shppngtrlly.com.au through a scoped purchase-import credential. Facts include item descriptions, purchase dates, quantities and units when known, amounts paid, store product codes where available, order or receipt references, line identities and supported refund or cancellation evidence. Observation metadata includes observation time, evidence kind and which fields were present. The service saves these facts to the connected account to find relevant offers and reconcile repeat reads. Confirmed catalogue matches are also saved to that account. Imported purchase facts are not added to public deal popularity counts.
Retailer passwords, cookies, payment details, delivery addresses and raw page or receipt HTML stay in the browser. The worker uses its scoped credential, not browser cookies, for Amazon uploads. The credential stays in trusted extension session storage. Pending Amazon data and progress stay in trusted extension local storage until confirmed saving. Ordinary Shopping Trolley tabs and the popup can close without stopping Amazon work. Pending records remain under their original destination account across interruptions or disconnect. Old pending Amazon batches need recovery attention and are not automatically migrated by an update. Disconnect does not delete purchases already saved. Use Data & Privacy to export account data or delete your account.
Woolworths remains a separate manual text eReceipt preview. Open each receipt in Everyday Rewards. Give consent on /account/import?store=woolworths, then approve the matching site, account and store in the extension popup. Keep that website page open. Its signed-in session saves the approved receipt facts. Pending receipt batches stay locally until acknowledgement or confirmed clearing. Clearing local progress does not remove saved account records. Automatic Woolworths history traversal is not available.
Subscribe & Save cancellation is a separate extension task. It runs on your Amazon page after review and confirmation in the extension. Cancellation progress is stored locally so the extension can show the outcome. A Shopping Trolley account is not required for cancellation.
The Shopping Trolley website records setup, import start, completion and error events through its existing analytics service. These events contain status and aggregate counts only. They do not include purchase names, order or receipt references, receipt contents, retailer credentials or account IDs. The extension does not add third-party analytics to retailer pages.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your purchase facts or use them for advertising. Purchase imports help us personalise the deals shown in your account.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We may share anonymised usage data with analytics service providers under strict contractual terms that prohibit re-identification.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Signed-in users can export their account data or permanently delete their account from Data & Privacy in the account area. A new sign-in link is required before deletion. You can also contact us (see Section 8).
We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable. No internet-based application is 100% secure; you use the App at your own risk.
