I visited a handful of spots, but this place, hands down, is my favorite Soba spot and my favorite spot for this year. I was hesitant to share; however, it’s my birthday, and as a thank you to all for enjoying my journey, if you are joining now, thank you. Kawakamian is a Soba restaurant with a few locations in Tokyo and one outside Tokyo, Japan. Their Soba has texture and flavor, and their side dishes are also delicious. I went for lunch and dinner, and I had a great time both times. It’s a Japanese restaurant in Japan, so learn some Japanese and be respectful because they might not know English. You can call to make a reservation or stand in the queue. If you are a Soba lover, you have to try it!
